In the past few months, there have been several football players that have collapsed and died away from the field.  So how much risk do these athletes have for sudden death.  Dr. Stephen Crouse, an expert in athletic medical screen joins us in the podcast today to talk about what we know about athletic sudden death and the real risk to athletes.  This is a great podcast, especially if you are an athlete or have a child participating in sports.

That had to be the hardest T- shirt question to answer since you have started these podcasts! All those pathys...Remarkable explanations by the Good Doctor, to break down the big words ; no pun intended, but he has a big heart! The price of health is also stunning, for just a "simple" follow through. So much needs to be done. I also picked up on the "older research" numbers being so far off the Newer research numbers. Making the problem six to seven times more prevalent in the "older numbers." Making the math accessible helps a lot too. And mentioning that more people die sleeping, than moving around; made me laugh, but it also makes you think. As usual, a great job. Thanks Docs!

This is really bad news, i think many athletes takes supplements and other products to increase the stamina and muscle too so may be over intake of such products may have ill effects on them.
