Mr. Adam Sargent
Academic Advisor for Student Athletes, Notre Dame University

Mr. Sargent currently works as the Associate Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes (ASSA) at the University of Notre Dame. His main responsibility is to provide academic counseling to the members of the University's Football team, a role he has had for the past eight years. Mr. Sargent has worked in ASSA for 13 years and over that time has served as the academic counselor for the Hockey, Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Baseball, Men's and Women's Swimming, and Women's Golf athletic teams.
Mr. Sargent is a 1999 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts while majoring in History and Anthropology. While an undergraduate student at Notre Dame, he was also a contributing member of the Men's Lacrosse team. After graduating from Notre Dame, Adam completed a Master’s of Science in Education that focused on Mental Health Counseling at Indiana University at South Bend. During that time, he interned for two years at St. Joseph's hospital where he trained as a therapist.
